Fossil Fuels? Blame It on the Arabs!

From NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT

As COP30 winds up to its usual miserable close, there are the regular headlines we see every year about “oil producing nations”

Blame it on those nasty Arabs, say the weird lefties who normally wave Palestine flags, wear stupid scarves (whose silly name I am not even going to try to spell) and condemn anybody else who does the same Islamophobes!

For some reason they don’t mention all the other nations opposed to the phase out of fossil fuels, whose economies rely on their consumption – China, India or the rest of Asia, for example.

Meanwhile the far-left Guardian reveals the names of the countries who are threatening to block any agreement that did not include such a commitment to phase out fossil fuels:

Yes, its mainly made up of European countries, who are doubling on terminal decline, a handful of Latin America nations and a few totally irrelevant Pacific islands.

Back in the real world, African and Asian countries have more sense. The US is of course busy doing its own thing, but even Canada and Australia are not yet ready to commit economic Hari-Kari!

The EU, along with the idiot Miliband, don’t seem to have worked out yet that the rest of the world left them in their slipstream a long time ago!
