‘Climate change – it’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world’
By Katy Grimes
What a contrast. Tuesday at the United Nations, President Donald Trump read UN leaders the riot act for imposing their immoral, destructive climate change policies on Western Countries, while California Governor Gavin Newsom inked a partnership between California and Brazil “to scale up cooperation” on climate change schemes, clean energy, cutting pollution, and “job-creating climate opportunities.” The California Globe has the story.
President Trump railed against climate change:
“This ‘climate change,’ it’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world, in my opinion,” Trump said. “All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes and given those same countries no chance for success. If you don’t get away from this green scam, your country is going to fail.”
“I’m telling you that if you don’t get away from the ‘green energy’ scam, your country is going to fail. If you don’t stop people that you’ve never seen before that you have nothing in common with, your country is going to fail.”
“The entire globalist concept of asking successful, industrialized nations to inflict pain on themselves and radically disrupt their entire societies must be rejected completely and totally — and it must be immediate.”
“The challenge with trade is much the same as with climate: the countries that followed the rules, all their factories have been plundered… by countries that broke the rules. That’s why the United States is now applying tariffs to other countries.”
Trump even said that in year 2000 the UN General said climate change would result in conditions around the world worse than nuclear war.
It’s year 2025. The climate is pretty much the same. Everywhere.
Gov. Newsom calls climate change “the existential issue of our time.”
But Newsom’s people and the Brazilians don’t appear worried about “the existential issue of our time.” Because they plan to achieve “climate neutrality goals by 2050 and 2045, respectively.”
Newsom claims his deal is “truth:”
“By strengthening our partnership with Brazil, California is reaffirming a simple truth: global challenges require global cooperation. This couldn’t be more true as we look forward to the UN’s Global Climate Conference that Brazil is hosting later this year. We can work together to cut harmful pollution, protect critical ecosystems, and build economies that work for people and our planet.”
California doesn’t have “harmful pollution.” And Newsom is no economist – climate change policies do the opposite – they destroy “economies that work for people and our planet.”
