Dr Swain is much more of a Climate Crisis propagandist than objective scientist, who was trained by Michael Mann and Noah Diffenbaug. Nonetheless he is frequently featured as the scientific explainer of California climate changes.

Swain just posted a youtube video of an interview with EarthSky claiming wildfires are more intense due to climate change without accounting for the fact that fires burn hotter due to increased fire fuels created from a century of fire suppression. Nor does he explain how bigger fires are usually a function of grassland fres vs forest fires. He blindly focuses on climateSo he then removed my refutation of his claims..

Swain claims ““Northern California experiences much faster rates of water loss and drying vegetation” without distinguishing grass fires from other vegetation types. He also fails to address the well-known scientific fact that the recent negative Pacific Decadal Oscillation and increased La Nina-like conditions eliver less rains that “dry out” the western USA.

Nor do doomsday scientists like Swain separate the amount of burned acres from human ignitions from natural lightning fires. California fires, 85 to 95%, are caused by human ignitions. Thus should not be considerd in cliamte causes of increased wildfires.

Nor does Swain try to explain why there were far more fires in the Amierican southwest during the 1700s to 2000s when CO2 and temperature were lower.

Clearly Dr Swain is a articulate useful idiot supporting climate change alarmists like the World Economic Forum and United Nations!
