The Australian Chief Political Correspondent Geoff Chambers says it is “pretty obvious” from all the warnings if coal-fired power isn’t used Australia will see blackouts both over the summer and ongoing.

“We will see blackouts over summer and ongoing as well until there is enough gas, pumped hydro and renewables in the system,” Mr Chambers told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
