As I noted earlier, the official estimate for global deaths from natural disasters last year was 15080.

Brits will no doubt be astonished to learn that, according to the CRED Annual Report, they had the most deadly disaster of the lot! Forget about floods in India, hurricanes and typhoons, a few sunny days in August were much worse!

Evidently people must have been going down like flies, unable to cope with a couple of days in the 80s.

Of course, nobody actually had “Died from heat” written on their death certificate. All of this nonsense is generated from computer models. Yet year after year, we find that death rates are actually at the LOWEST during summer months.

This saga proves just how meaningless the whole CRED report is.
