More than half of Germans had side effects after the corona vaccination. Young people in particular often report having severe vaccine side effects.

In Germany, 192.2 million vaccine doses have already been administered.

Every second German has side effects after corona vaccinations, which he attributes to the vaccination. This is the result of a representative INSA survey with 1,700 participants for Schuler! Fragen, was ist out. Accordingly, more than 52 percent of respondents stated that they had suffered side effects. More than 23 percent even report having suffered severe side effects.

According to the survey, especially young people under the age of 40 often suffered from vaccine side effects. 36.6 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds and 45 percent of 30- to 39-year-olds had severe vaccine side effects. A trend can be observed: With increasing age, the proportion of vaccine side effects decreases drastically. In people over 70, not even 30 percent had mild or severe side effects.

The age trend also runs through other categories. For example, trainees and students are significantly more frequently affected by side effects than employed persons. But even among employed people, a majority of 63.5 percent reported side effects, 33 percent even of severe side effects. Only retired people get away relatively free of side effects.
