CFACT’s Gabriella Hoffman was interviewed on “O’Conner and Company,” a talk show on 105.9 WMAL DC radio regarding recent whale deaths and whether they are being caused by wind turbine construction work.

“More and more people are drawing a connection – just this past weekend there was a Bloomberg headline that said the $100 billion wind industry is going to hurt the whales,” Hoffman said. “So more and more people are coming around to this idea that something is affecting these whales.  Something is causing them to interact with vessels and they’re having more conflicts with boats at a more unseemly rate than usual and they’re washing up dead ashore, and more and more people believe it’s the underwater geotechnical surveys that are being done to survey underwater to see if its feasible to install these wind turbines.”

Listen to the full segment here. Hoffman’s interview starts at approximately the 20:30 mark.
