The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have predicted there could be a 10 per cent shortfall of gas supply next year in their recent report.

Origin Energy CEO Frank Calabria said there has “never been a shortfall in the gas market and the LNG projects have continued to provide gas to the market”.

“Even next year the shortfall only occurs if – in their report, they state 167 petajoules that’s uncontracted finds its all the way offshore and none of it finds its way domestically,” Mr. Calabria told Sky News Australia.
