Writer Corrine Barraclough says Harry and Meghan Markle’s arrangement of paparazzi pictures and public announcements after requests for privacy are hypocritical and they are playing audiences.

“This is peak hypocrite, it is possible to be a celebrity and not court the media, not to play those games,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Ms Barraclough said Meghan Markle’s pregnancy announcement on Valentine’s Day was a “staged media play” as she revealed her pregnancy in the same fashion as Princess Diana revealed she was pregnant with Harry.

“They’re playing the media game and they cannot switch it off when it suits otherwise you are a complete hypocrite.”
